As part of efforts aimed at finding a permanent solution to truck congestion around Apapa and its environs, the Authority announced Eto, the Electronic Truck call up system for managing truck movement and access to and from Lagos Ports Complex and Tin Can Island Ports.
All trucks doing business at the ports are required to park at approved truck parks until they are called up into the port through the Eto app.
The Eto application is responsible for the scheduling, entry and exit of all trucks into the ports.
Balosh Integrated Services was contracted to install and maintain traffic barriers at 44 port sites to reduce gridlock on access roads and improve transfer and processing of exports at the port.
